We sell one of the products compared here. This guide uses public supplier documentation, not independent product testing. “Confirm with the supplier” means the reviewed sources do not settle the question.
The decision in brief
Vocca explicitly describes healthcare scheduling and multidisciplinary coordination. Inquira centres its proposition on connected patient logistics with named Dutch EHR integrations. The useful comparison is your exact EHR, the work between appointments and how staff take over—not whether either supplier can answer a call.
When each supplier belongs on your shortlist
Consider Inquira when…
Your shortlist depends on Medicore and Nedap Ons, secure patient actions and a configurable journey that keeps prerequisites and staff exceptions visible. Ask us to prove the complete process in your intended integration.
Consider Vocca when…
Vocca’s healthcare workflows and named medical-system integrations match your organisation. It deserves a detailed evaluation for multi-practitioner scheduling and patient communications; confirm Dutch deployment and connector scope.

- 01Primary scope
Inquira Health
Care coordination and patient-logistics automation: connect reception, preparation, scheduling and follow-up in a configured patient journey.
Source 1Vocca
Vocca describes specialty routing, multiple calendars and coordination across practitioners.
Source 8Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Run a multi-step referral with two practitioners; check the scheduling rules and unfinished work.- 02Between patient contacts
Inquira Health
Secure patient links for forms, documents and appointments. Journey steps can trigger reminders, calls or an alert to the team when an action remains incomplete.
Source 2Source 1Vocca
Its terms describe voice, SMS and email for appointment changes, preparation, reminders and follow-up on patient requests.
Source 9Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Show how a missing prerequisite is requested, received and linked to the next step.- 03EHR and scheduling integration
Inquira Health
Named EHR integrations: Medicore and Nedap Ons. Agree the required read/write operations and permissions. Other EHR connections are scoped per project. The partner profile linked below provides additional integration context.
Source 3Source 4Vocca
Vocca names Doctolib, Maiia and Weda integrations in its medical scheduling article. Dutch EHR compatibility requires confirmation.
Source 10Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Demonstrate your EHR version, booking operations and document or note write-back.- 04Human control and exceptions
Inquira Health
Journey steps can stay with staff, use assistance or run automatically. Review the configured handover, patient timeline and scheduling constraints in a demonstration.
Source 1Source 5Vocca
Vocca describes a dashboard for calls, tasks and bookings. The reviewed material does not settle the exact exception workflow for your organisation.
Source 8Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Show who owns an unresolved task and how a staff member takes over without losing context.- 05Security and deployment
Inquira Health
Published certificates: ISO 27001:2023 and NEN 7510:2024. Inquira states EU data residency. Review certificate scope, the DPA, subprocessors, retention and access controls for your deployment.
Source 6Vocca
Vocca describes European hosting, encryption, access logging and no model training on patient data. Its privacy policy also permits safeguarded international transfers and specifies retention limits. Confirm the settings and processing chain for your deployment.
Source 11Source 8Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Request the contracted deployment, processors and evidence scope; distinguish hosting-provider certification from supplier certification.- 06Commercial scope
Inquira Health
Published Pro pricing: €350/month plus €0.15/minute; EHR connection from €150/month, excluding VAT. Ask for a quote covering the intended journey and implementation.
Source 7Vocca
Vocca describes a fixed monthly subscription in a pricing article. Its illustrative starting price is not a complete tariff or quotation for a Dutch deployment; included usage and implementation costs need confirmation.
Source 12Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Request the same usage, connections, onboarding and support scope from both suppliers.
Inquira’s published Pro plan supports up to 10,000 minutes per month; those minutes are billed separately. Broader scope and capacity require an agreed proposal.
Use this in your demo
Test a referral with an unfinished prerequisite
A patient needs two coordinated appointments. A required document has not arrived. Use fictional records and the same rules for both suppliers.
- 1
Make the dependency visible
Show the missing document in the workflow and request it through the agreed channel. Explain which bookings can proceed and which must wait.
- 2
Coordinate the appointments
Once the prerequisite is met, book in the correct order using practitioner, location and duration rules. Verify both records.
- 3
Change one part of the journey
Cancel one appointment. Show how the other appointment, preparation messages and staff tasks respond.
- 4
Give the team control
Show the unresolved exception, responsible team member and complete history. Ask the operator to change the next step.
Accept the workflow only when the system shows the resulting record, the exception owner and the audit trail. A spoken promise is not completion.
Questions buyers ask
Is Vocca only a telephone receptionist?
No. Its public material describes medical scheduling, multi-practitioner coordination and patient communications. Compare the actual workflow depth and integration scope instead of assuming it only answers calls.
Does Vocca support Dutch EHRs?
The reviewed integration article names Doctolib, Maiia and Weda. It does not establish the Dutch EHR operations needed for your project. Ask Vocca to confirm your system and demonstrate the required actions; this is not a claim that other integrations are unavailable.
Why evaluate Inquira alongside Vocca?
Evaluate Inquira if your requirements centre on its named EHR integrations, secure patient actions and connected care-journey steps. Ask both suppliers to demonstrate the same prerequisites, scheduling constraints and staff handover.
How this comparison was prepared
We reviewed the linked first-party product pages, policies and documentation on October 5, 2026. The comparison separates advertised capabilities from procurement questions.
