Inquira vs Bland
A comparison for European healthcare teams deciding how much automation infrastructure they want to configure, integrate and operate.

We sell one of the products compared here. This guide uses public supplier documentation, not independent product testing. “Confirm with the supplier” means the reviewed sources do not settle the question.
The decision in brief
Bland explicitly offers healthcare workflows, Dutch-language calling and enterprise deployment options. It should not be dismissed as a US-only calling tool. Compare its programmable approach with Inquira’s documented patient-logistics workflows and named Dutch EHR connections, then agree who owns integration and ongoing operation.
When each supplier belongs on your shortlist
Consider Inquira when…
Your priority is an implemented care journey around Medicore and Nedap Ons, with patient actions and staff control. You want to start from the documented healthcare workflow and confirm the remaining configuration with the supplier.
Consider Bland when…
You need extensive programmability or particular deployment choices, and can define who owns the resulting integrations and workflow. Bland offers enterprise engineering assistance, so evaluate both supported implementation and work assigned to your team.
Compare the operating model
Publicly described capabilities are shown below. Confirm the exact package, integration and deployment in your proposal.
- 01Primary scope
Inquira Health
Care coordination and patient-logistics automation: connect reception, preparation, scheduling and follow-up in a configured patient journey.
Source 1Bland
Bland describes healthcare intake, scheduling and record updates. Enterprise messaging documentation also covers channels beyond calling.
Source 8Source 9Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Run the patient workflow across the channels available in your country and contracted package.- 02Between patient contacts
Inquira Health
Secure patient links for forms, documents and appointments. Journey steps can trigger reminders, calls or an alert to the team when an action remains incomplete.

Its healthcare material describes integration middleware between clinical systems and its platform. The call API lists Dutch as a language option.
Source 8Source 10Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Demonstrate state between contacts and test Dutch names, dates and administrative vocabulary using the selected model.- 03EHR and scheduling integration
Inquira Health
Named EHR integrations: Medicore and Nedap Ons. Agree the required read/write operations and permissions. Other EHR connections are scoped per project. The partner profile linked below provides additional integration context.

Bland discusses clinical-system connections through APIs and middleware. The reviewed sources do not establish a named Dutch EHR connector for this project.
Source 8Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Name who builds, validates and maintains each EHR operation, including retries and duplicate prevention.- 04Human control and exceptions
Inquira Health
Journey steps can stay with staff, use assistance or run automatically. Review the configured handover, patient timeline and scheduling constraints in a demonstration.

Bland offers enterprise engineering support alongside programmable tooling. The division of implementation and operating responsibilities needs a scoped proposal.
Source 11Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Have the intended operators inspect an exception, change a workflow and trace a failed record update.- 05Security and deployment
Inquira Health
Published certificates: ISO 27001:2023 and NEN 7510:2024. Inquira states EU data residency. Review certificate scope, the DPA, subprocessors, retention and access controls for your deployment.
Source 6Bland
Bland describes managed, private-cloud and on-premises options, including EU routing. Its trust portal lists ISO 27001 documentation; request the report and scope. Subprocessors operate in different regions, so review the ordered deployment.
Source 12Source 13Source 14Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Get the data-flow and processor list for the ordered deployment; do not infer geography from the supplier’s headquarters.- 06Commercial scope
Inquira Health
Published Pro pricing: €350/month plus €0.15/minute; EHR connection from €150/month, excluding VAT. Ask for a quote covering the intended journey and implementation.
Source 7Bland
Pricing combines platform and usage components; billing documentation lists additional charges and options. Enterprise scope is quoted.
Source 11Source 15Ask both suppliers to demonstrate: Include telephony, messaging, deployment, engineering, integration maintenance and operational support.
Inquira’s published Pro plan supports up to 10,000 minutes per month; those minutes are billed separately. Broader scope and capacity require an agreed proposal.

Test the workflow—and the team that will maintain it
A scheduled clinic session is cancelled. Several patients need new appointments, and one record update fails after a patient accepts a new slot.
- 1
Apply the scheduling constraints
Select eligible alternatives using the required clinician, location and duration rules. Explain which components supply those rules.
- 2
Coordinate the patient response
Contact the patient in Dutch, capture their choice and reserve the slot without conflicting bookings. Demonstrate the configured channel.
- 3
Handle partial completion
Let the booking succeed and the record update fail. Show retry handling, a clear exception owner and a consistent message to the patient.
- 4
Change the workflow safely
Ask the people responsible after launch to adjust a rule and show how they validate the change. Identify supplier work, your team’s work and ongoing costs.
Accept the workflow only when the system shows the resulting record, the exception owner and the audit trail. A spoken promise is not completion.
Questions buyers ask
Can Bland be considered for European healthcare?
Its public documentation describes healthcare workflows and European deployment options. Suitability still depends on the contracted processing arrangement, clinical-system integration and your organisation’s requirements. There is no basis here for a blanket legal suitability verdict.
Does Bland support Dutch?
The call API documentation lists Dutch. Validate the selected model and configuration against your own names, accents, dates and workflow vocabulary. Listed language support is not an acceptance test.
Is Bland always a do-it-yourself implementation?
No. Its enterprise offering includes engineering assistance. Compare the actual statement of work with Inquira’s proposal, including who maintains EHR connections, workflow rules, monitoring and exception handling.
How this comparison was prepared
We reviewed the linked first-party product pages, policies and documentation on October 5, 2026. The comparison separates advertised capabilities from procurement questions. The shortlist guidance is our interpretation, not a scored test. We have not independently verified competitor performance or contractual compliance. Public documentation changes; request the latest evidence from every supplier, including Inquira.
